My client is an internationally known manufacturer of single board computer products, primarily for Compact PCI and VME architectures. It`s products are designed and developed totally in-house, and use leading-edge microprocessors and peripheral components. The candidate they require will have experience of fault finding on high speed digital circuits with the use of oscilloscopes and logic-analysers. Should have at least two years practical experience within a test environment, without the use of ATE. Must have some mechanical aptitude. If you have an ONC*OND (GNVQ EQUIVALENTS) or HND*HNC (GNVQ EQUIVALENTS) this would be a distinct advantage as would any knowledge of Intel processor architecture and PCI system busses. This is a cracking opportunity that will allow you to work on products that sell into many different markets around the world, but in particular include a number of high-performance communications controllers and processor boards for telecommunications and aerospace applications. Other products in the range provide solutions for a range of other data processing and industrial I*O requirements.
